KARA YAMAGUCHI
Costume and accessory designer Photographer and researcher Sacred site tours

Kara is an Australian with Japanese/American roots and has nearly 30 years of experience living and working in Japan as a teacher, artist, tour guide, writer, researcher and translator. She has held exhibitions across Japan and is currently one of the few people in the world researching Japan's lost super-civilization in English and introducing this crucial information about what is possibly the world's oldest civilization! Kara also studied kimono making for five years with a special focus on creating ancient costumes, and is dedicated to the preservation of Japanese fabric for future generations. She is now currently sharing her research and exploration into the Jomon period which existed in Japan for more than 10,000 years, and may just hold the key to creating a new and harmonious world for future generations.
